It’s a gift: what if she doesn’t like it?
It can be returned within 30 days of delivery, like any order: just email us with the order number.
Not sure what to choose? A necklace or an adjustable bracelet: no size to guess, and if she doesn’t like it, she can return it. Only give earrings if you know her taste: for hygiene reasons, they can only be returned sealed (unless faulty).

Do they go black or green like costume jewellery?
That’s exactly why they exist. Lots of cheap jewellery is brass with a thin coat of gold plating: when it wears off, the copper underneath oxidises and leaves a green mark.
Ours are 316L stainless steel with PVD plating in an 18K gold colour: no brass underneath, so no copper to oxidise. And if the plating does give way? You’re covered: Lifetime anti-tarnish guarantee.
Can I wear them in the shower, at the beach, at the gym?
Yes. They’re made for real life: showers, sweat, the sea, sunscreen.
To be honest about the limits: keep them away from bleach and harsh detergents. And to make them last even longer, take them off for the pool.
My skin is sensitive to nickel. Are they OK for me?
316L steel releases very little nickel, within the limits of the EU’s REACH regulation. For most sensitive skin, it’s the safest bet.
It isn’t “nickel-free”: if you have a severe allergy, zero risk doesn’t exist with any jewellery. Start with a necklace or a bracelet. For hygiene reasons, earrings can only be returned in their sealed packaging (unless faulty).
And if I don’t like it?
You have 30 days from delivery to tell us you want to return it, and we pay for the return postage. Email info@uppereastjewels.com with your order number and we’ll send you the instructions.
Try it on as you would in a shop (if it’s been worn beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value) and, if you can, send it back in its box. Rings: what size should I get?
Our sizes are the inside circumference in millimetres (size 52 = UK/AU L½). Wrap a piece of thread around your finger, mark where it overlaps and measure it with a ruler.
Every ring’s product page has our “Find your size in 30 seconds” guide. Between two sizes? Go for the bigger one. Try it on at home, just as you would in a shop: if it doesn’t fit, tell us within 30 days and send it back.
